I have the following PDS file:

........data1 xx..........data2 xx.......
...data3 xx...................................
...............data4 xx............data5 xx

How can I do a sequential search to find de "datax xx" and send it to an output file?

do you need a solution in easytrieve?

my suggestion is to use SORT for this..
