JCL to interact with Oracle DB

Post by akj22102015 » Thu Oct 22, 2015 1:38 pm

Hello,

We currently have a few SQR's which run on mainframe that update tables on DB2(using JCL via IKJEFT01).

As part of changes these SQR 's will need to update Oracle 12.1.0.4 DB that resides on a remote server. The SQR 's will continue to run on mainframe and will have no interaction with DB2.

Could you please reference any guides / manuals which could help me out with JCL changes in this regard.

Also please let me know if any middleware is required to achieve the same.

Thanks for your help!!!

Regards,
AKJ
