MAINFRAME - TIP OF THE DAY :
Q. If there is a situation, where we need to code more than 255 steps in a JOB?
A. We need to split jcl into two jcls , at the end of the first jcl check the condition code and initiate the second jcl.

There are many options which can work for you if you are really serious:
1. Install heculeus at your Home PC and work with that.
2. Spend your spare time in reading manuals and then experiment on Mainframes.
3. Once you are rather comfortable with DB2 - you may go for it's certification.
There is other site which I recently found that allows you to create your RACF ID and they have simulted the Mainframes environment - I'm alos punting on that, I'll post that link for you as well but just now I don't have that handy. _________________ Regards,
I am working in mainframe production(ca-7,mainframe console & control-m).Total work is on jcl at present.I also did mainframe course.
I want to go in scheduling in near future(ca-7 & control-m).Could anyone please suggest me is there any mainframe certification(jcl, basic os/390) which can enhance my chances in the future relevant to this. _________________ With regards,
