Who provided the direction that the same dataset that has (had?) the source should be the dataset to receive the load module? Not only the same dataset, but the same member. . . Do not be surprised if that code is completely gone. Why does the "fix" job have a different dsn ( corrected from "job" ) ...

You need to implement something that will let you search DNS by ip address rather than name.

Try this site to see how it works:
http://www.dnswatch.info/

They may be willing to share the basics but you would still have to find a way to implement running under tso/ispf.

You possibly used that pds as the library to store the output of a compile/link. Which means you did not use the stancard comple jcl. . . I'd make a copy of what you have now before doing anything. If you have a backup (and if you don't, why not?) restore tha backup and go on from there. If you have...

I generally want know why all shop floors generally stop with moving to pertals & keep the UDB part on Z Series. One reason is because many faild in the attempt. Once an application tries to leave the mainframe, the mainframe infrastructure (consistenct, security, tunability, etc) is often lost. Th...

You can refer Animesh Prasad's Informatin because I am working on same query. You will get SYSOUT information from his post. Quite inconsiderate. . . Also, you spent more typing your "directive" than simply pasting the link to that topic in your reply or simply running the job and postng the output...

Well, you have destroyed whatever was in there. If there is no backup i don't know of any way to get it back. . . Can you re-run the processes that use some sequential data to insert/load into the missing table(s)? If not, suggest you come up with a way to have the initial data available (after you ...

Did you create a backup of the old data before loading the current data? If not, why not . . . ? Suggest you talk with your storage management people and see if there is a disaster recovery backup or other backup that has the old data and make a plan to recover it. Many (most?) organizations run ful...

I guess you use Google to have answers or suggestions. Did you actually try to do this? Keep in mind that when searching you are not allowed to use what you already know . . . It is easy to search for things when one already knows the answer. Also, it is better to reply to currently active topics r...

What you ask them depends on what they have already asked and discussed with you. Before going to the interview, you should have done some research on the company and ask something about what you learned. You might also ask how this position became available. Is it a new position or did someone vaca...

If the compile is successful, the load lodule is typically generated as part of the compile/link process.

Suggest you ask your changeman or compiler support people.
