Costa,

You mentioned 1 - 10 as a key filed of the VSAM file, IDCAMS will check, only VSAM Key file whether It same in FLAT file. As we are using Repro With Replace option, If it was matching, It will replace, If it didnt match, It will copy.

Costa, I am not clear with it, If you find the record in VSAM & FLAT file, how you want to update it?? Are you saying replace data from Flat file with VSAM file.
