IDMS Software Simulator on Windows

"mainframe" emulator software Hercules VM/370 may be useful.
please check that.

for online help, type Hercules in google.com.

Hello Anuj,

I did try Google, but could not find. Though as Vamsi mentioned re. Hercules, but that is MVS simulator on Windows. What I need is an IDMS / ADSO simulator on Windows. Thanks anyway.

Back in the '80s there was an ADS emulator that ran on the PC called TAB.
To my knowledge it is no longer around, but if you search for it, you might (though I doubt it) find a copy.

It allowed one to right fully functional dialogs, including process control functions like LINK and XCTL, and test and complete ADS based application on the PC. Once devlopment was completed, it could stay on the PC or be migrated to the mainframe, generated and put into production.
