How to retrieve Deleted VSAM file

Hi All,
By mistake someone for my team has deleted one VSAM file . Is there any way to get back the same VSAM file ? And also is there any way to check From which ID the VSAM file Got Deleted ??

There should be a backup that can be used to restore the dataset. If there is Not, the first order of business is to make sure all of your needed files are backed up. This is even more true for Production data.

If your system has any Canned SMF reports you may be able to find this in the SMF data. Talk wkith your system support people.

I'd suggest makinig sure this does not happen again rather than worrying about who did the evil deed this time.

Someone made a mistake because the system did not prevent them . . .

If you have problems of Usage Statistics I suggest trying to contact the administrator directly
