can any one expalin about proc in jcl

can we use instream proc in like catalog proc in jcl , yes i know its code in the jcl itself ..can we code it in ps file and call to jcl ..is it work ...can any explain it ..i would be thankfull

can we code it in ps file and call to jcll
No. All expansions that occur during the processing of JCL come from JCL/PROC/PARM libraries (PDS's/PDS-E's) that are either system default or are objects of JCLLIB parms, PROCLIB parms or PARMLIB parms.
