I have worked in telecom industry as a test technician for 4.5yr. i have completed my part time B-tech in that time. I have completed mainframe application programming course. Now I want to get a job in mainframe environment coz its very interesting.
can anyone suggest me to create a resume........i have lot of confusions......Is it necessary to add the previous experience which is not related to mainframe ?......... I dont have any experience in mainframe ........i resigned my job long back........

Suggest you learn what resume format(s) are currently being used in the geographic area where you want to work.

I would surely include previous working experience so there is not a multi-year gap that might indicate you had not been working.

If you know people already working in IT where you are, talking with them might be useful. Resume format? Hiring opprtunity in their organizations. Etc.
Have a good one
