Future on Mainframe technology

Hi,
I have joined in some MNC, they gave mainframes as my platform.
I have been working here from past 9 months.
I just want to know how is the future in mainframes and Is it good to continue on mainframes or do I need to change my technology?
Please answer my questions if possible.
