Could u plz clear my doubts below
1) what for we use DATACLAS=DATAF
2) what s d use of LISTC all entries ( Vsam file)..

- 1. DATACLAS is a JCL key-word and used to specify a data class for a new data set. This is a site-specic thing. The storage administrator at your installation defines the names of the data classes you can code on the DATACLAS parameter. So, DATACLAS=DATAF is specific to your site and only your site-support group can tell wht would it mean specifically. In general, it's the name of just another DATACLASs.
2. Please don't use chat slangs around here, they are not considered as good manners.
LISTC (LISTCAT) is IDCAMS command, which lists entries from either the master catalog or a user catalog. If you want to know more, this is pretty well defined in the manuals.
