possible migration from syncsort to dfsort

Post by tommynero » Thu May 24, 2012 8:42 pm

Hi,

we are planning a migration from one ibm-machiné to another.
One idea is to switch from syncsort to dfsort.
Who has experience in doing or planning so? What has to be considered?
Is some kind of translation necessary?
I am looking for some kind of literature or paper.
There is not that much time for decision making.
Normally I would say never change ...

Thanx in advance for any help

Thomas

If you send an e-mail asking about migration to dfsort@us.ibm.com , we will send you some documents that discuss migrating from Syncsort to DFSORT.
