Hi,
I''m trying to create a file dynamically based on the file reception time and date including microseconds. I have created the and file name how I required and it is available in SORTOUT file. Can you please help me out can I use that file name A.B.C in the SORTOUT file to be created as a FILE NAME in Dev environment.

I don't fully understand what you are saying/thinking but if you have a datasetname that is a line of data in a file and you want to use it in another job as part of the JCL - or for dynamic allocation - then yes you can. Read the record and use file-tailoring or even have the program create the JCL and submit it or you can have the program that s going to read/cretae the dataset with that name use the name as one of the parameters to the dynamic allocation routine.
