Simple BTSIN file for test yields U1001

Post by jfdutcher » Mon Jul 07, 2014 12:17 am

I am trying to get a batch BTS job to run to work as an aid to an online transaction code change. The input is brief and simple:
//G.BTSIN DD *
./T TC=TPROV MBR=TP2P0100 PSB=TP2P0100 LANG=CBL TYPE=MSG
./D DDOF=327029 EOM=$
/FORMAT MO9318E1
TPROV
L21C25 '06' L21C53 '000007059' ENTER $
/*
//G.DFSVSAMP DD *
4096,4
8192,4
/*

The BTSOUT file ends with this message.....
INPUT RECORD: TPROV
TRANSACTION ABNORMALLY TERMINATED. COMPLETION CODE WAS U1001.

Just need to say the initial issue was resolved by fixing up the runtime region parameters being called for. Of course...thet led to a new issue, the BTSRC000 program itself abends with SVC 13 and a U4083 error. Googling seems to suggest that an "invalid backward chain" exists .....don't see how I can influence that at the moment though. Thanks all..............
