HOW TO SEE THE UPDATED MESSAGES IN SQLERRD (SQLCA).

WHETHER THE ROW INSERTED OR DELETED SUCCESSFULLY ????

under SQL = 0 , I mean when the Query is executed succesfully you
can display or move into other working storage varaible the values of the varaible of SQLCA like SQLERRD(3) and othes too.
I dont have DB2 to run a quick test ..let us know if it doesn work.

Hi ibmlearner,

i dont know about messages, but SQLERRD(3) contains number of
records updated/deleted by the sql. If it contains 2, which means , 2 records updated/deleted by the sql.
