Rexx code to open a file from JCL on double/triple click

Post by manoj-mainframe » Fri Jan 08, 2010 11:55 am

Hi All,

Could anybody please help me with creating a REXX script by which it will help me to open a file in jcl by a double click or triple click on that file name.

Everybood must be using various options like SEE,JE etc on command line and point the cursor on file which needs to be opened, Then after pressing a enter it allows us to view the file either in view/browse mode.

but i want to make it by double/triple click so that it will be easier.

Thanks in advance for a quick response. :-)
Best Regards,
Manoj Kumar Panda :-)

it would only work if you were using an emulator to communicate with the mainframe.

don't want to get into writing vb scripts for emulators.
there are other forums and documentation for 'ALL' the different emulators.
