Redefine

Post by Ranjith31 » Mon Apr 12, 2010 1:57 pm

Can i redefine X(29160) with X(28726) ?

If I code like this, will any problem arise in future ?

how the sysytm will handle this redefine clause effectively, and how it will finish of both the lengths.

Awaiting for reply.

Thanks & Regards,
Ranjith

no difference than Pic X(1) redefining Pic X(2).

JCL, SQL and code in programs have an irritating habit of doing what you say,
not what you meant.
