Will MDCAMS give a bad return code if one of the files it tries to delete it empty?

i am assuming, your question is related to IDCAMS.

it may return MAXCC=4. Please check this topic, check last post for example

Hi,

I'll also assume that IDCAMS is been tailored to meet some local requirement at your shop & given a name "MDCAMS". Suggest, search under the ISRDDN for the definition of MDCAMS - I believe that can help.
