I know that it is because of space issue , but the thing is that my output dataset is PDS and its disposition is OLD.

How to resolve it , could you plz help me .?

Thanks

Don't know what to tell you. I'd either free up some space in the current PDS by deleting some members and then compressing it, or by having your storage team add more space to it, or by using a new PDS.

Hi ,

The output dataset is live data set that is used in production. We dont have assess to deleting the members.

Cannt it is possible to increase the space for the PDS in the same JCL itself in SREPRO1 step ?

Thanks

Can someone at least run a Compress, and see if that fixes your problem?

Dumb question, but why on earth, if the dataset is, as you stated a "live data set that is used in production" are you allocating it with DISP=OLD? Why are you placing an exclusive enqueue lock on it like that? Won't this practice cause major problems and production abends?
