when you are in an edit or view session, PF1, then look in the in Index for FIND,CHANGE.

subtopics will provide you with all the different abbreviations and how to execute the Find command.

Hi,
Thanks for your immediate reply. i checked the syntax that are given in the list.

But it doesn't contain any thing related to P'#' or P'@' command. But the above command is also valid.

The below example explains my doubt.

f all 'a' 3 is working

f all p'@' is not working..
Thank you,

Hi,

Thank you very much. As you said i tried with index. Its working now. The above said error is due to changes in the settings.
Thank you,
Chandru

Glad to hear "it's" working - but I'm kind of.. little lost. What was the problem exactly and what's the solution used, if you share that..that will help others looking for solution to similar question(s)...

the problem is initially i didn't get the exact result for the primary command.. i checked the keyboard settings through help features.
I found the different key settings for appropriate key. For example if i press 0 i will get some other value...
Thank you,
Chandru

having worked in several different countries -
where code pages differ
and keyboard offerings are different

I usually copy&paste the character found in the PF1 documentation.
that way I have the correct character for the site.
