How to view the Source Listing of a Cobol Program in Endevor

Post by prm » Tue May 19, 2009 8:57 pm

Hi All,

I am new to Endevor , I am proficient in using Changeman as version management tool , but in my new project I have to work with endevor.

Can somebody guide me in figuring out how to(what options to use) for viewing the 'Source Listing' of a Cobol Program in Endevor.

Regards
PRM

there are some links in this thread. Don't know how good they are.

Suggest PF1. Each panel in endevor has rather good 'HELP'.

I would rely on your site's HELP before I would take the time to read a document from another site.

May not be the same version you are running.

Endevor documentation is under copywrite, which means that you require authorization for access (such as employed by the site, etc.)

I imagine your site has the documentation, you should ask your endevor support.

JCL, SQL and code in programs have an irritating habit of doing what you say,
not what you meant.

Thanks for the quick response.

The actual problem at my site documentaion is two fold :
a) Minimal or no help/documentation available
b) and whatever documentation available is in french as we are supporting a french customer.

To view the source listing, you can go to option 1;1;1;1 from ENDEVOR/MVS PROCESSING SELECTION MENU.

However, it might differ from shop to shop.
