Hi Siva,

We can do it from COMMAND ( Start 6 ) from TSO pannel also.

As how normally we download a file, in a similar way, since u want all

the version of the GDG specify the GDG BASE as the file which

has to be downloaded and all the versions gets downloaded onto the text

file.

As Info:

IND$FILE GET 'ABCD.TEST.LIST' ASCII CRLF NOTRUNC

Note : The same can be achieved using the FTP job , please let us know
if your only looking for a JOB which has to be run at the scheduled time,
then we can think of the batch job.

Thanks
Veera.

Hi Siva,

I remember sometime back my team developed a tool usign VB, using which you can download some files/reports into the excel but as per my info even then ur id needs to have FTP access without that it cant
be achieved.

Why dont u place a request with ur Mainframe admin group, setup of
access shd'nt be a problem UNLESS security issues as per there standards.

Well if i come across something i will get back to you.

Thanks
Veera
