SPUFI should handle all SQL DB operations provided the user has access.
not sure on other tools never been there. But i guess others should
also be able to handle.

Thanks,
Veera.

you have mentioned everything that can connect to DB2 and initiate an update process.

what exactly is you question, or did veera figure out what you meant by your question?

Dick Brenholtz -> Well thanks for getting the attention for this post,

My interpretation of the question was if we can update the table without using COBOL + DB2 and is it possible thru any of the SPUFI, QMF, Princeton, any other tools ...and then I taught as you have mentioned it can be done thru all the means what he has mentioned, so I just gave reply in affirmative.

Well i am sorry if i interpreted wrong, Brenholtz yes now if I go thru the question again i am getting second thought as what was his question exactly....

Well Chandra Shekar it would be good if you reframe your question and get back to us , so we can come up with right replies.

Well thanks again Brenholtz.

Thanks,
Veera.
