ALternate to IDCAMS-REPRO

Here IDCAMS & REPRO are being used for VSAM file copy.I know that "SYNCSORT" can be used as alternate to idcams-repro to get better cpu performance.But i don't have SYNCSORT here.So any other suggestion for getting better performance than IDCAMS-REPRO

Do you have DFSORT? DFSORT can be used as an alternate to IDCAMS-REPRO.

I have DFSORT.But can you tell me that is that going to improve CPU time?

It depends on what you're doing exactly (this is true with any sort product). The BEST way to find out is to try it with IDCAMS and DFSORT and compare the results.
