the DFSORT developers often update old threads with enhancements to their product.
Yes, definitely. This is part of our "requirements feedback loop". We gather requirements from help boards, put enhancements into DFSORT/ICETOOL to meet those requirements, and then post back to show how to use the new functions. We think this benefits everyone. _________________ Frank Yaeger - DFSORT Development Team (IBM) - firstname.lastname@example.org

Most of the time, instead of answering, posters end up asking questions to the original-poster, who is, most of the time, no longer uses the Forum and thread drifts in a wrong direction and Site-Admin are forced to make a rule "not to re-open old threads"...
I asked this question long back, I was new to this Forum that time. During that time, there were some old threads in the Forum, which I thought, could be supplemented with some additional answers...in doing so, I don't annoy anyone, to confirm that I asked away The Question in this thread. _________________ Regards,
well it is okay to answer old posts...there could be some people who wants to know the answer of same question but the topic is buried down and by answering it you are actually bringing it up and benefitting others
