To get the total record count of flat file.....

Hi.....

Can any one help me to find out the total record count of a flat file with out using mF8 or SORT ....Could you help me by using File-Aid commands....

Hi,

Please enter in fmt mode and do mF11 you will get the count in right hand corner..(Provided the file is not huge)!

There is a function "Tally" in File-Aid (fileaid/3/8/enter/tally), try that.
