difference between -805 and -818 sqlcode

Post by Mandar999 » Tue Nov 10, 2009 8:39 pm

Hi,

Please tell me if anyone knows the difference between SQLCODE of

-805 and -818.

Has anybody encountered -818 sqlcode.

If we bind a CICS DB2 program, and donot do CEMT S PROG(pgmname)
NEW i.e. do not perform newcopy in CICS, we get -818 . This is what i''ve read , but in practical situation in test environment,
i am not getting -818. I am always getting -805.

Even if the DRBM and COBLOAD exist but the version is different, i encounter -805 only

Thanks in anticipation

You will get SQLCODE -805, when DBRM or PACKAGE not found in PLAN.

You will get SQLCODE -818, when DBRM or PACKAGE exists in a PLAN , But there
is a timestamp mismatch between load module and DBRM or PACKAGE
