what is the difference b/w CA MIM & CA1 ?

what is the difference b/w CA MIM & CA1 ?

Both CA MIM & CA1 have Tape Management as function. However still they are two different products wanted to know what is the difference b/w them ?
Also for SMS managed systems why do i need something like a CA1 when RMM does the same management & tracking function for tapes ?
