BlackBox Tool

Post by sivaramans » Wed Apr 06, 2011 1:38 am

Hi,

Has anyone heard of a tool called BlackBox for Mainframes. We recently heard about this tool but not sure of the context in which it is used. Sorry for such a random question and appreciate if anyone can provide some information about the tool

Thanks,
Siva

http://www.blackboxit.com/products.shtml

it mentions allowing models and rules to be developed.

you go to all the problem of analyzing your system to feed parms into a picture maker.

it's good for those who can gather facts
but not use them in a useful manner.

The exercise necessary to gather the necessary facts to provide the parms for the model forces people to look at the 'logic' of their business.

i imagine there are many people who don't really understand their business and
require a tool to help them provide a proper analysis of their systems.

it is almost the same exercise necessary to implement SAP.
