file manager(unable to view/edit dataset)

Hi,
i am facing problem while viewing or editing dataset in File Manager.
howeever, i can copy using fm.3.3 option.
the error i am facing while giving DSN name in quotes is "invalid input"
if i remove the dataset n only giv copybook n RL , it opens the stored pds with the given RL.
please help me for the same asap

fariamby,

You need to a better job explaing your problem. Even if I try read between the lines - File-Managers' 3.3 option is totally differnt than browsing the file using FM. I'm not sure why do you compare both of them.
