Loads of links at the top of the forum page - manuals, books, tutorials. Do you particulary want JCL (because you posted in the Job Control Language section of the forum) or a general coverge in which case you should have posted in a general section. _________________ Regards
If you are currently attending training, suggest you concentrate on the material being taught rather than some other "things". Once you have mastered this training material, move on to what you want to study next. _________________ Have a good one

The easiest way i know is to take training and actually use JCL on a system.
JCL is not what i'd call a "scripting language". Scripting languages support "programming". JCL basically tells the system what to execute and what resources are needed for each execution. _________________ Have a good one
