Hi,

I am new to mainframes and i have an inhibition towards it. I have la=earnt all the basic cobol, Cics and Db2 but still i am scared to start working on mainframes. Will i be able to overcome these fears and face the challenge? Please advice.
Thanks.

Like riding a bicycle or cooking - the more practice the more comfortable it will become. Some where back along the line Every One of us was new

When you find an employer, they should realize you are early in your career and should take this into account with your initial assignments.

Good luck and we will be here if you have questions.
Have a good one
