CA-7 standby

Post by jeff.holst » Wed Dec 10, 2014 12:43 am

Does anyone here have any experience running a standby copy of CA-7?

We have things set up so that we can quickly bring up our CA-7 on a different LPAR from the one where it usually runs if that LPAR should fail. I can see where there might be operational challenges running a standby copy. I am wondering if it would be worth the trouble trying to get this running instead of just starting CA-7 on a secondary LPAR manually on the rare occassion when the primary fails.
