Hi all,
Can anyone please clear my doubt. If we search for a list of elements in ENDEVOR like 'PSDT890*' anf for example it gives 10 elements starts with PSDT890,can we take the list into PS either by JCL or any other methods?

hi nick...
I think i didn't explained much about my need...
For example, I've 500 elements name which i've to check in endevor whether it is available there or not.
I dont mind what is inside...
I just need the system, subsystem and type of the elements...
I couldn't manually search if the prefix of the elements are different or if there are more number of elements appear for my search criteria...
So can i have the elements name in a PS file and search the endevor by using that PS file as an input...
Is there any posibility for that?

I don't remember on which panel
but endevor has a report generating sub-system,
which will generate the JCL for a batch job to generate the report.
After the first time, I copied the generated JCL from SDSF,
and created a JOB in one of my PDS's
and thereafter coded the control cards necessary (in a PARM LIB)
sometimes you cannot generate exactly what you want.
sometimes you have to generate a report containing all members of endevor.
then use sort to remove what you don't want.
