Compare to files - write the count of matching - Easytrieve

I dont know what is easytrieve.But as per my knowledge this can be acheived through EASYTRIEVE.

I want to group values present in column 23 - 3bytes and column 36 - 3 bytes and get the count

The value in 23 position - 3 byte is not always HJU,MKL,DOS,WIN,NEN,NEW,HEW

It is the same with column 36 - 3 bytes
