Hi Krish,

As u did not mention more details of the field, I am assuming that u have picked this field (Customer-Name) from a copybook (ABCDXXXX).

In this case, First u need to do the following list of activities:

1) Increase the Copybook (ABCDXXXX) length by 5 bytes.
2) Increase the Corresponding File length by 5 bytes.
3) If you are moving this field to any other field then the length of that Copybook (PQRSXXXX) and the corresponding file lengths also needs to change.
4) List out all the programs that are using the copybook (ABCDXXXX) and do the above mentoned steps as well.
5) If you find any copybooks like (PQRSXXXX) then you are required to change the lengths of the Copybook (PQRSXXXX) and their corresponding file-names.
