1st post here, I'm not sure that I am even in the correct forum.....
I have been put in charge of converting one of our COBOL systems to the internet. We want to save rewriting thousands of lines of debugged code, just replacing the screen handlers.
It has to go to the web because they want to start using Iphones, Ipads, Droids, etc. with this system.
The only product I have found is WebBOL (http://www.acscweb.com/WebBOL). Has anybody used this product before ? Is there a different product folks have used ?
thanks
Jake

That's a very subjective sentence - every bit, so far, written in COBOL language can not be cahnged to something equivalent in "web" right away. Are you talking about on-line programs at your shop, such as which were written in COBOL-CICS, COBOL-IMS-DC, MQ?have been put in charge of converting one of our COBOL systems to the internet.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm talking about inhouse on-line programs that were written in COBOL. I should have made that more clear.
They want it to run on the web for several reasons. The main reason being that they want smart phone access (Iphone, Droid) as well as Ipad2.
They are very happy with the system as it has run the last 15+ years. so I am really looking for a screen handling user interface for the web that will allow me to keep the remaining non-screen COBOL logic and data handling.
