Required Suggestion

Post by abhihendre » Thu Oct 07, 2010 12:55 am

I am MCA 2010 pass out and had joined mainframe course a month before in the Institute named MAPLES.

As I had planed to pursue my career in Mainframe , hence looking for a course which can support current mainframe requirement.

I have two options for the same.

1) Red hat linux certification.
2) Testing & Automation.

Please suggest me appropriate course I should go along with, which will help me in improving chances of getting placed in mainframe technology.

Since you joined mainframe course 1 month before, my suggestion is, concentrate on current mainframe course that you are attending in MAPLES training institute.

On the other options , that you selected.. both are good.
Now a days, there are opening for the guys who know mainframe and unix.
Testing stream is an good area for joining.

Before adding any Topup .. first better concentration on Core Mainframe Skills.
