Post by mkk157 » Wed Apr 14, 2010 4:52 pm

Dear Experts,

I have been working on Mainframe (COBOl, JCL, VSAM, DB2) for the last 4.5 years, Presently @ Hyderabad . Now, I would like to take a training which is offered by any real time expert.

Please let me know, Who offers good, Quality CICS training ?

If yo uare looking for an individual Trainer, I believe it's kind of beyond what is available in the market. There are "free-lancer" Trainers in the market for sure but they don't carry "setups to run a CICS program" - you got to have all these set-ups and then they can teach how to work with it.

There is a product available from MFCOBOL, which is probably not free (i've not tried it yet), using that you can write some of the CICS program.

On ther other hand, if you want learn by your own - books from Murach Publications would be my suggestion.
Regards,
Anuj
