No one here can tell you which libraries to look in on your system. . .i want to know how i can view these procedure to kcow what exactly written in them
Someone DOES know. If they are being run, someone knows where they are. You might talk with your Scheduling or Operations people or the DBA. . .nobody knows
How would someone half-a-world away know how your system is configured
Have a good one
Some would have been set up as part of the installation. Others might have been added later.what i mean is does these procedures lie in libraries that are specified by DBA at the time of installation?
What kind of dataset naming standards exist or is everything "whatever"? Some places use QMF somewhere in the DSNs for these datasets.
I believe your best bet is to find whoever did the install or is currently responbsible for the product. . .

Hi dikdude,
thanks for the the information
as you have mentioned some might have been added later
in this case suppose i have created new QMF batch procedures with forms to create some reports
while creating them do i have to mention the PDS names where these procedures have to store?
Or these procs going to store in the PDS that were defined at the time of installation!
i am very curious about these QMF jobs and i just want to know....
