As Dick has said, the Rule is: You cannot concatenate VSAM data sets.
However, if you've SELCOPY avavilbale at your - you might try this, as they say:
The CAT statement
Concatenation of input files is beneficial to MVS, VSE and CMS users, as any type of file may be concatenated. e.g. a sequential disk file, a VSAM file, a Card reader file, a Library Directory file, and even a VTOC file. No restrictions on record format, record length or blocksize.

the words concatenate and concatenation are essentially the same.
concatenate is the 1st and 2nd person singular and 1st,2nd,3rd person plural forms of the verb to concatenate.
concatenation is a gerund/a noun.
that was my thrust in my first post.
a person does not do a noun,
a person does a verb.
i was correcting your english.

'Cause its the law. . .why we cannot concatenate the VSAM files
Until you gain more familiarity with what VSAM is and how it works, a more technical answer would be of no help. . .
I know of no "requirement" to use concatenation. It is just another feature/tool to be used when appropriate. When it is appropriate is usually when there are multiple physical files that contain the same kind of data and need t be processed as a single file.I mean why do we require concatination,
Have a good one
